FAQ & known limitations
What the plugin does, what to review, and where its limits are.
What does the purchase include?
The current Buzz Campaign Pack plugin: four social size presets, copy generation through Buzz smartResize, naming, selected PNG export, manifest.csv and ZIP delivery. The proposed Community price is US$10 as a one-time payment. The seller must confirm the final price in Figma's publishing screen.
Is there a free trial?
No custom trial is implemented. The intended release uses Community's direct one-time purchase model.
Will it change my source asset?
The generation workflow writes to newly created copies. It reads the source to clone it and load the fonts needed for resizing. The source and existing Grid entries are kept. Always review the generated copies before delivery.
Will every design resize perfectly?
No. Official smartResize may change image crops, spacing and element proportions. Long text, constrained templates, unusual layouts and unavailable fonts need particular care. This plugin does not contain its own advanced layout engine.
Does it work with templates or locked elements?
A locked source and its locked children, and a Figma-provided template, were tested successfully. This does not establish compatibility with every published template or restriction. The plugin does not unlock or detach the source to bypass restrictions. Errors identify the affected targets.
What happens if a font is unavailable?
The plugin checks for missing fonts and loads the fonts needed by the copies. A failure is reported for that target and the plugin attempts to remove its unsuccessful copy. Font-loading rejection was tested inside Buzz; a genuine missing-font document was not available for this release QA and remains recorded as BLOCKED.
Why does Undo take more than one step?
In the tested Buzz client, smartResize produced separate Undo boundaries. Undo can remove the generated copies over several steps. The plugin does not promise one-step cancellation of a whole batch. Check the canvas after each Undo rather than continuing into older history.
What is in manifest.csv?
The source ID and name, preset, target dimensions, generated node ID, exported filename, status and error. It includes the selected export targets and any generation failures from that session. Unselected successful assets are omitted. Failed rows do not claim that a PNG exists.
What happens when only some PNGs export?
The ZIP contains the successful PNGs and a manifest identifying failures. When all selected exports fail, a manifest-only ZIP can be downloaded. Retry after correcting the affected assets or selecting fewer outputs.
Is 64 MiB a total memory limit?
No. It caps the aggregate PNG bytes accepted into one export batch. Figma rendering, message transfer, archive construction and the download Blob use additional memory. A controlled 24-asset Buzz test reached the cap safely, but memory use depends on the client and design.
Can I recover a previous session's results list?
Closing the plugin clears that list. Generated assets remain in the Buzz file. Switching the running UI to a modal restores the in-memory list; re-export to create a fresh ZIP link if the UI has been recreated.
Where do my design data and payment details go?
The plugin processes design data inside Figma's plugin environment and saves files only through your download action. It has no external server, analytics or external AI integration. Figma and its payment providers handle purchases under their own terms; the plugin has no custom checkout or payment-credential fields.
How do I get support?
Email exportpreflightsupport@gmail.com with a non-confidential reproduction and your Figma client/version. Purchase and refund support is handled through Figma Community.
